Micropterix renatae is a species of moth belonging to the family Micropterigidae. It was described by Kurz, Kurz & Zeller in 1997. It is known from the Ligurian Alps, as well as the northern Apennine Mountains (the provinces of Liguria, Tuscany and Emilia Romagna).[1]
The habitat consists of edges of dense, deciduous shrubland and tall herb vegetation.
The length of the forewings is 2.7–3.2 mm for males and 3.3–3.8 mm for females.
